Green Management
The growing dependencies in the global economy make it imperative for companies to face up to international competition. This also involves global logistics processes for both the procurement and distribution side. Not only the manufacturing of products and services, but also the handling of logistics processes lead to considerable environmental pollution and damage. The program Green Management was developed to prepare graduates of this course for management positions in innovative companies.
Business &Technology Management
The predominantly English-taught program in Business & Technology Management is aimed at foreign applicants who want to qualify for the German international job market or for jobs in internationally active companies. Graduates of the Business & Technology Management programs are specialists in many sectors. Their fields of activity are wherever it is important to harmonize technical and commercial thinking. Processes and procedures in companies are becoming increasingly complex. Industries and the service sector therefore need specialists who are technically adept and can think in business terms. This program trains such specialists.
Automotive & Mobility Management
The course with the focus in Automotive and Mobility enables you to gain access to a highly strategic technology trend that will have a major impact on the future. Germany's car manufacturers are very successful in the global markets. Leading brands are highly recognizable around the globe, even among children. However, the traditional car manufacturing, sales and product utilization process is changing significantly. Current key terms are car sharing, connected cars, autonomous driving and multimodal mobility. The topic also includes aspects such as e-scooters for „last mile mobility" through to transport agencies that operate highly complex global vehicle fleets.
Data Science Management
The course with the focus on Data Science Management is at the heart of all digitalization processes. Data is the most important success factor for all industrial and service activities in the 21st century. Artificial intelligence, smartphones with unprecedented capabilities, Internet of Things (loT), global communication networks based on 5G data speed and other emerging data transmission standards and hardware/software platforms are revolutionizing all types of communication. Data scientists are urgently needed to develop analyses in the management of current business Processes.
Environmental & Energy Management
The specialization in Environmental and Energy Management covers a range of highly relevant initiatives and decision-making processes related to environmental sustainability. The continued global economic growth process will dramatically increase the importance of environmental and energy management in the future, especially as companies will be confronted with the need to contribute to sustainable solutions. In particular, it is to be expected that companies will have to provide support in terms of socio-economic equality on all continents and at the same time achieve comprehensive environmental protection and greater energy efficiency.
About
About Us
Our History
Since our foundation in 1999 we work in Berlin, doing research and developing study programs in cooperation with universities and companies in Germany and abroad.
IMBC stands for Information Management and Business Computing. The addition
"Institute for Information Processing" shows that we emerged from a public university, the HTW Berlin, and work close to universities.
As a spin-off from the business informatics and company environmental informatics programs, we have acquired expertise over many years in application oriented study programs and training courses.
We are proud of our international Master's degree programmes developed for Latin American and African universities. They run very successfully in Argentina, Cuba, Mozambique and Tanzania. In other universities, we develop modules that can be chosen as specializations within the framework of other courses.
Actual Activities
We have been on the market for 25 years and are continuously evolving.
We are constantly expanding our network: multipliers, corporate partners, universities and teachers. We work together with highly interesting people and institutions who support us with their practical expertise.
As a result, we have gained an excellent reputation in recent years, which we want to further expand for the future as the IMBC ACADEMY.
In addition, we are working on various projects and ideas, but it is still too early to report on them.
As soon as there is news, we will communicate it here.
